There are several important reasons that make an assessment of an operational program crucial to its success. One of the most important reasons to evaluate a project is to make sure that the program is working as designed and then establish benchmarks and criteria that can be used to improve the program. Each assessment must take into account any possible environmental effect in the project area. Another valuable use of assessment is to provide better program accountability to the project sponsor. Also of important is that the project is in regulatory compliance. RHS uses start-of-the art tools to analyze if a program is successful and where improvements can be made.
